Mochilato, Fullerton

After about a year wait, the second location to Mochilato has finally opened in Fullerton just as the summer heat has begun to bake Southern California. This location is much larger and offers seating for large and small groups as well as patio seating. I don't know if it was the novelty or the price that had me so enthralled with Irvine's Mochilato, but Fullerton didn't quite live up to the nostalgia that I remember with Irvine. However, this location has some upgrades since I first tried Mochilato.

Not just available in Japanese, Italian, and Mochilato way; the Barista flavor has coffee gelato with coffee mocha ice. The gelato shaved ice now comes in four sizes: Junior (6.95), Single (8.95), Lovers (11.95), and Family size (16.95). I remember when the Single was $5.25, now it's 8.95. What a huge hike!
The Italian Way was topped with strawberries, mochi, kiwi, mango, and bananas as well as vanilla gelato. It didn't seem to be as packed with fruit as I remembered, and they were diced much smaller than I would've liked. On the plus side, it tasted was as good as I remembered.
